I was sad to read this morning that the renowned pinup Queen of the 1950s, has died. According to her agent Mark Roesler, Page suffered a heart attack and never regained consciousness. She was 85. Page has been a fashion icon and a leader in the sexual revolution. Page did with a whip and a smile the things that most men were only dreaming of and most woman could not yet conceive. She was a one of a kind beauty who will forever been known, loved and emulated, because as they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

"I was not trying to be shocking, or to be a pioneer. I wasn't trying to change society, or to be ahead of my time. I didn't think of myself as liberated, and I don't believe that I did anything important. I was just myself. I didn't know any other way to be, or any other way to live." -B.P.
